Just wondering since its supposed to be a jutsu paired with Izanagi the way Tsukoyomi is paired with Amaterasu.

How come it apparently doesin't require Senju DNA?

The only explanation I have is that Izanami is a much more limited jutsu compared to Izanagi.

Does itachi know that tobi isnt madara? Will itachi tell sasuke that tobi isnt madara? I assume since kabuto is in a genjutsu that itachi should have enough time to talk to sasuke. Does itachi know that the real madara has been revived?

One thing i wonder. Izanagi by itself can be used to bend reality one time ( survive death ) then your blind in an eye unless you have some technique active ( Edo Tensei ) or if you have multiple sharingan. Then you can spam it ( with edo tensei, the mulitple sharingan means you can only use it the amount of times as you have sharingan ) Well... from what we've seen Izanami has a greater effect, replay events in enemies head multiple times and change outcome slightly every time, and seems to last longer ( in a sense ). Wonder if he can replay so much because of Edo Tensei or thts just the technique on its own
And i posted this then realized another member posted something like this and i apolagize but i have other things abt the limitations. What are the requirements of Izanami and Izanagi. Ik You need sharingan but do you need a specific one? Will Eternal Mangekiyo save the light of your eyes or not. What if you can use it once without losing your light. Also how long will Izanami last? Comment if ya want

Is Izanami kind of reality warping ability?

It is said to be Genjutsu but unlike other Genjutsu (with the exception of Izanagi) it is real. So, is Izanami reality warping ability? :D

About "Hot Threads"

Okay now the forum has a system to label threads as "hot" threads according to its popularity.
The condition is 15 replies OR 150 views
I don't know if anyone else noticed but almost every thread eventually becomes a "hot" thread simply because the number of views exceeds 150
This doesn't really help at all in knowing what the most popular topic are

So I was wondering if the condition for a thread to be labelled as a "hot" thread could be changed
You could either increase the no of views required or even better set the condition as 15 replies AND 150 views, since most of the viewers are guests...

This would give a much better idea about popular topics or at least revive the purpose behind such a system...
Any thoughts?

We see that Itachi loses his eye when he uses Izanami the first time. Shortly after that he gets his back. The third time he uses his Izanami since we couldn't see his eye the second time he loses but the regains it. It seems everytime the loop happens, Itachi regains eyesight out of his left eye. It seems Izanami is just an infinite number of loops. But what if this is because Itachi is an Edo. Maybe since Itachi is an Edo, he can regain his eyesight everytime he uses, and use it again and again. Maybe if you're not an Edo, Izanami can only loop once. Or maybe Izanami can loop infinitely and it just loops the same thing again, so Itachi's eye is just getting looped back again and again.

So either Izanami is only one loop but since Itachi is an Edo, he can use it again and again until he decides to stop it and doesn't lose his eyesight.

Or

Izanami really is just an infinite number of loops and once Itachi ends it, he loses his eye permanently

What if Tobi is Shisui?

Think about it,

Shisui's uses his Kotoamatsukami on himself tells himself to be the person the world needs to bring peace.This produced the person we know as Tobi.

Some interesting points :

Shisui was known as "Shisui of the Body Flicker".

He has the "warping" sharingan similar to Obito's because he could be Obito's big brother or father - so shares similar abilities.

Same hair style.

When Konan broke Tobi's mask, it really looks like and older Shisui.
